DISCLAIMER. MOUNTAIN BIKING CAN BE DANGEROUS. YOU JOIN US AT YOUR OWN RISK.

SAFETY BRIEFING.

1 Wear a helmet. Despite recent advances in medical science, brains still cannot be mended nor replaced.
2 Wear gloves or mitts. Hands often hit the ground first. Cuts and grazes invite infection and a hospital visit
3 Wear eye protection, it only takes a twig or thorn to loose an eye. Crud catchers are a good idea in mucky weather.
4 When downhilling, for your own protection, allow plenty of space behind the rider in front.
5. Bring a bare minimum emergency tool kit and a spare inner tube.
6. Breakdowns are a bore. Plan not to have any by ensuring your bike is in perfect working order.

DON'T TRASH OUR PLANET

Leave it the way you would like to find it, so don?t pollute, scar or damage the Great Outdoors. Be friendly to other countryside users, slow down, say Good Morning/Afternoon and smile a lot.
